More stuff happening at my patreon page.

I mean, clearly, things are happening here, but patreon is next level!

Bankrupt without Love

In civilization’s longing for unity, the path of least resistance has always been agreement that someone must be thrown out… the female, the foreigner, divorced, powerless, enemy, rule breaker, the other person, those different than us, etc. (e.g., Jesus.)

The more difficult path toward unity is to be willing to be the one thrown out.

I don't say this flippantly or without respect for how difficult this might be, but if Christianity doesn’t recover the value of self-giving love, if we don’t don’t humbly champion the humility it takes to be the one willing to be thrown out for the sake of others, then it is pointless. We’re bankrupt without love.
